Robert Ennis

Law Clerk

Robert Ennis has been working as both a law clerk and freelance writer for Dolan Law since August, 2009. He is completing his LL.M in Law at the University of Chicago Law School this year, 2011/2012. He graduated with First Class Honors (summa cum laude) from University College Dublin Law School in the BCL program (JD equivalent), where he was an Articles Editor for the UCD Law Review. In 2009/2010, he completed an international exchange year at De Paul University Law School, Chicago.

Robert has previously worked as a Law Clerk for a number of prominent Irish law firms, in addition to completing a judicial Externship with both the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in Los Angeles. He has also worked at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Hailing from Ireland, Robert is an avid Rugby player. He most recently played with the Chicago Griffins in the Western Conference of the United States Superleague, after playing club rugby in Ireland for the past fourteen years. He is a frequent triathlete and hill runner.
