AG Sessions Warns “Sanctuary Cities”

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday blasted so-called sanctuary cities and warned that federal grants will be denied to jurisdictions that refuse to honor Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer requests. Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez responded with a statement decrying the Trump administration’s “dangerous immigration actions that undermine law enforcement.”
