Chicago Aldermen urge federal review of Chicago law department

City of Chicago’s Law Department has been sanctioned eight times by courts in its defense of civil rights lawsuits against Chicago Police. City aldermen are looking for federal review of the department similar to what the DOJ did with the CPD.
