A father’s claims against a fraternity, its members and others who joined in a hazing event that turned fatal for his son can mostly go forward.
The state’s top court this morning validated Gary Bogenberger’s attempt to hold liable the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Northern Illinois University, as well as its officers and students who participated in a “vodka-laden” pledge night, for David Bogenberger’s death in November 2012.
